Why we are doing this!!****

Purpose & Mission
We are developing these automation tools not because we are work averse lazy folks. Far from it.

Our main purpose and mission in developing these tools is to eliminate those things that don't add value, i.e. eliminate the Value Added Tax. We eliminate the tax part and retain only the value added, save our time and use it to create more value and increase our efficiency and accuracy.

My only fear is for IRS not to sue us for tax evasion!! Lol!!😆😃☺☺

Get Station (Chaînage) Ultimate NEW**HOT**

The previous GetStation (Chaînage) Tool works with 2D Polylines and 2D Coordinates Input File.

It works also theoretically with 3D Polylines but with 3D Coordinates input file which is usually impractical.

One of us, Engineer Biniam G. commented that the previous version GetStation generates error or aborts when supplied with 3D Polylines and 2D Coordinates input.

This Ultimate Version 19.01.01 handles both 3D and 2D Polyline Plan Drawings and  it converts 3D Polylines to 2D Polylines, explodes and joins them and generate the Stations automatically without user interaction needed for all types of lines. The input Coordinates shall be 2D, XY Coordinates only.

Since what we are after is the Stations, converting 3D Polylines to 2D doesn't make a material difference for our purposes. This is a versatile robust tool.

Validation AutoHydraulics Vs Hec-Ras (WSPRO) *****VERY IMPORTANT

Regarding the AutoHydraulics Tool, I have validated and checked my tool with HEC-RAS and WSPRO and it gives identical results.

The mathematics is not complicated. My tool, HEC-RAS and WSPRO all use Manning's Equation. So HEC-RAS and WSPRO should give identical results. 

The only difference is that my tool considers a single X-Section while they consider more than one X-section. So when you model using HEC-RAS and WSPRO, if you use several X-Sections but identical to each other with identical channel slope and Manning's n, then my tool and HEC-RAS and WSPRO all give identical results.

If you use several X-Sections different from each other but with identical channel slope and Manning's n, my tool gives you slightly different results but which are a very good approximation. Otherwise, AutoHydraulics and HEC-RAS and WSPRO shall give identical results.

In future releases of AutoHydraulics, I will try to program it so that it has similar capabilities as HEC-RAS and WSPRO. It is not that much a complicated mathematics. It just needs more effort, time and patience.

Validation AutoHydraulics Vs HEC-RAS
